About Me

I grew up in Norwalk, Connecticut, reading my dad's old comics and making short films with my three siblings. That sparked my interest in Marvel and superheroes in general. 

My early involvement in acting and musical theatre, along with my participation in school choir and a cappella groups, helped shape my interest in storytelling and performance. My favorite musical to watch is Wicked, but my favorite musical I have acted in was Curtains: the Musical. 

Outside of film, I also explored different athletics like figure skating and ice hockey. 

When I started my film making journey I leaned toward sci-fi, fantasy, supernatural and superhero genres. Anything with a fantasical element. But as I started writing more, specifically short scripts for film school I started to branch out. (Partically because of the pressure to write something realistic for a student film budget). I began to enjoy writing a a grounded comedy or drama without splashy powers or creatures.

Now I still like fantasy, sci-fi, ext, but I would say writing stories and characters I can weave my experiences into is more important than a specific genre. You'll see variety in my short films and writing samples. 

During my time at Rochester Institute of Technology, where I earned my BFA in Film Production with a focus on directing, I also pursued a minor in Business Administration. 

I worked with RIT Sports Network, gaining experience in live production environments and fast-paced, collaborative workflows. 

I also managed social media, apparel, and treasury operations for a student organization, the RIT Steel Bridge Club, where I developed skills in branding, organization, and production logistics.
